The main units are connected by a line of wires and refrigerant pipes through a small hole in the wall. Indoor units are long and thin and are usually mounted above a window or door on an outer wall.

Regular Maintenance
B&L Ott mini-split HVAC systems need more maintenance than some other systems. Each unit’s filter must be washed monthly. If you neglect maintenance, debris will accumulate and cause serious problems. You will also need to call B&L Ott to repair, clean, and inspect your system. Neglect can also shorten the life expectancy of your mini-split HVAC system.
Aesthetics
Mini-split HVAC systems don’t come in a variety of colors or styles. Most come in the basic colors of white, beige or black. They also can’t cover them so finding a way to camouflage them is difficult. Yet, some B&L Ott customers find them easy to forget about as they are small and mounted high.
